HAARIS SHEIKH is Chief Executive of Interesource Group (Ireland) Limited. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD); He is on the Board of Directors of the Deaf Community Centre Limerick, and the Citizens Information Centre, Limerick. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Centre for Deaf Studies, Trinity College Dublin. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Member of The Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers (MIMCA).


He is chairman of the DESIGNS project which runs from 2016-2018, and was the chair of the JUSTISIGNS project (2013-2016). His former project roles include Chairman of the MEDISIGNS project (2010-2012), the SIGNALL 3 project (2009 - 2011), SIGNALL 2 (2007-2009), STEP Project (2006-2008), COMPETE Project (2005-2007) and SIGNALL Project (2005-2007), FOSTER Project (2003-2005), STREAM Project (2002-2004) and MORPH Project (2001-2003) He was also Project Director of the EUROSIGNS 2 (2007-2009), INNO-AT, INTERCOMM (2002-2004) DEAFVOC (2008 - 2010) and ELISE (2000-2002).


He is a Senior Consultant in human resources and business strategy and policy for a number of companies and organisations in Ireland and his main area of professional interest is strategic HR policy development and practice.


He is an Associate Member of the Technology Enhanced Learning for Health Research Group at the School of Medicine, University College Cork. Formerly, he lectured in HR at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick.


He has authored/co-authored numerous reports and journal articles, and has presented papers internationally on a wide range of topics in such fields as HR, Deaf studies, elearning and technology and education.

He has directed ten international DVD documentaries.
